OVERVIEW
MENTORING

Support During a Transitional Phase

Mentees are working through a transitional phase in their lives and are faced with a variety of minor and major decisions.

Experiences from people who have already gone through similar phases help them to form these decisions in a reflective and self-confident manner.

Guidance Through Sharing Experiences

The task of a mentor is to gain an understanding of their mentee's situation and to reflect on and share their own experiences in order for their mentees to be able to derive viable ways in which to make their own decisions.

Make a Longer Term Commitment

For mentees, questions keep emerging throughout their transitional phases.

We therefore recommend that for a mentorship you commit to a time frame of about six months in which you meet for an hour or two each month.
